Computer-aided Diagnosis applied to MRI images of Brain Tumor using Spatial Fuzzy Level Set and ANN Classifier

The most vital organs in the human body are brain, heart, and lungs. Because brain controls coordinates operations of all other organs, normal function is vital. Brain tumour a mass tissues which interrupts functioning if left untreated will lead to death subject. classification multiclass tumours using spatial fuzzy based level sets artificial neural network (ANN) techniques proposed this paper. In method, images preprocessed Median Filtering technique, boundaries Tumor obtained Spatial Fuzzy Level Set features extracted Gabor Wavelet Gray-Level Run Length Matrix (GLRLM) methods. Finally ANN technique used for image into Normal or Benign Malignant Tumor. method was implemented MATLAB working platform achieved accuracy 94%, significant compared state-of-the-art techniques. Thus, assist differentiating between benign malignant tumours, enabling doctors provide adequate treatment.
